CrossFitters are so obsessed with being perfect, in fact, that they're willing to risk injuries to get all the benefits from working out regularly and getting enough sleep. As I'm sure most of you have heard, CrossFit is becoming so successful that many fitness professionals are getting into the CrossFit business to "compensate" for lower numbers of people who would otherwise be interested in becoming CrossFitters. As soon as you tell these people that they're wasting money on CrossFit equipment that they didn't need, I see several responses: "It's not CrossFit. It's called CrossFit" "CrossFit isn't a legitimate weightlifting program. It's just some gym." "It's not enough to do CrossFit." I see many people (not just CrossFitters) who look up to CrossFit because they think it will be their ticket to success if they just follow the principles, but the more they're trained and coached, the more they realize that the more difficult it becomes to become an elite athlete.
